We often get asked if we can colour match (for example to a RAL code or another manufacturers’ colour). The answer is yes, we can make bespoke colours but only for our Exterior Linseed Oil Paint Range. Due to the manufacturing process for which we charge a Bespoke Colour Production Fee of £250.00, there is a minimum order quantity of 3 x 2.5L (84.5 fl.oz) at £189.50 per 2.5L. You can purchase additional 2.5L if required on the same production run for an additional £189.50 per 2.5L.
The cost for 7.5L is a Production Fee at £250.00, plus 7.5L Bespoke Colour Linseed Paint at £568.50 (total £818.50), plus shipping charges.
Should you require the colour specified in the future we do not charge the Production Fee again as this includes the colour matching process which we will hold in our records for future use. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a sample pot for custom made colours.
To manufacture a bespoke colour we need one of the following: a RAL or NCS code; a manufacturers' swatch; a wet sample of the paint; a painted sample. We hold colour cards for some brands like Farrow & Ball and Little Greene so we can match by name, but nothing beats a painted sample for accuracy. If you are sending a colour sample please post to:

The lead in time is around 3-4 weeks because we need to clean down the machinery, carry out the colour matching and schedule in the manufacturing for each bespoke colour.
