Description

Chatsworth Estate contacted us to colour match their existing estate colours in a blue which wouldn't turn grey over time. For this colour we use the highest quality cobalt blue. As long as the paint has been applied and maintained correctly, it will look great over a long period of time. For images and more info on this colour, please checkout our project pages.

Don't forget to order your Raw Linseed Oil and Balsam Turpentine if you need to thin the first coat.

If you would prefer a ready mixed primer, we would recommend Primer #3

I was reluctant to try initially because I'd had problems with mould on my linseed painted Windows previously. However- even after one coat, this covers beautifully easily, smells lovely, easy to clean up, really strong pigment, great wicking properties, really fantastic & pleased to have found- great quality. The only drawback is the price, with a couple of coats of paint @ £69 a 1 litre for an 11sqm coverage it's hard to claim it cost effective. Nether the less- it's a great quality paint if you can afford it.

This paint is a great shade, it covers very well, also great for rough sawn wood. It's so easy to use, no need for white spirit or turpentine, if you wash out the brushes with linseed oil soap straight after use. You can see a little shelf I painted with this shade (one coat) here: http://victorianhouseproject.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/corrugated-lean-to-roof-or-words-you.html
