Description

PRIMER – USE WITH EXTERIOR LINSEED OIL PAINT

A ready mixed Primer to be used with our Exterior Linseed Oil Paint when painting on exterior timber. Now there is no need to mix your own primer coat of paint, raw linseed oil and balsam turpentine. Made from natural ingredients and pigments, our Primer is already mixed to the correct ratios and, after a thorough stir, ready to use. One coat of this Primer is the perfect base for any of the colours in our beautiful Exterior Linseed Oil Paint collection.

It comes in three shades:

PRIMER #2

PRIMER #3

PRIMER #1 is the lightest of the three shades.

When you order your Exterior Linseed Oil Paint you will see which of the three Primers we recommend for each colour.

Please note that the colour may vary between batches, but it will not affect the final finish once the topcoats are applied.

Good colour coverage

This is a beautiful primer, which contains lots of pigment, and can be painted very thinly yet still retains a good depth of colour. The linseed smell is very pleasant, too.

The new range of primers has proved invaluable for our business , it’s a very accurate and cost effective way to prepare timber ahead of time , the quality as you’d expect from brouns & co is second to none !
