Don't forget to order your Raw Linseed Oil and Balsam Turpentine if you need to thin the first coat.

Coverage is approximately 15-20m2 per litre per coat (160-220 sq.ft. per 33.8 fl.oz. per coat).  This equates to about £6.53 per square metre (US $0.79 * per sq.ft.) for the finished job done in three coats (one coat diluted and two further coats undiluted).

The finished job for Farrow and Ball Exterior Eggshell (plus primer) is approximately £8.92 per m2 and Dulux Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Satin (plus primer and undercoat) £11.13 per m2.

    Brouns Linseed Paint

Excellent cover and finish on my shed. This is just a light coat to keep the wood protected, as I painted the fresh new wood last year. Gives such protection from salt air, rain and nearby trees.

Used on old oak doors after thorough stripping of the old paint. The linseed paint went easily and looks beautiful.

    Grey Green No.12

I did a lot of research before deciding on Brouns paint for our garden up cycling project. The service and website has been quick and easy to use. Loved the video tips. I’ve only done two coats so far, I like the watermark effect of seeing the timber’s grain through the paint. the cedar grain. My garden veranda has been a wonderful recycling project and I’m quite sure the paint will preserve it for many years to come. Highly recommended.

I've used quite a wide range of Brouns & Co exterior paints in the last 6 months as recently moved into a new house and I have been very pleased with all of them. They do end up going a bit further than your conventional paint (ignoring the additional use of Raw linseed oil and turpentine) but most importantly the result should give a long-lasting finish that protects the wood for years to come. Naturally I cannot comment on the long-term quality of these paints, so far I have been very pleased and will definitely come back for more. Thank you Brouns & Co.

Delivery was so quick and having watched the how to videos the products were so easy to use. Such a pleasure to work with, and it really does go a long way. Have a lot left so am looking for other things to paint (my husband better not stand still too long)! Look forward to my next project.

Brilliant product. I love the colour and ease of use. I was told by shed installer to use a good oil based product. I have, I used the best Brouns!

It is a lovely paint to use and gives a fantastic finish I have taken before photos but sadly the pot I ordered only covered approx 10 sq metres so I need to order more before I can share the photos

Green grey is the colour for all of our garden timber, so we always keep a stock. We use it on our barrows, bird houses and tables and chairs as well as doors and windows, for its unmatched durability.
