Nourish Wood Oil

Our newly formulated Nourish Wood Oil is a user-friendly clear linseed oil for the protection of timber. It has UV protection and anti-mould growth properties.

Preparation:

Shake well and decant required amount into a non-metal container. Remove any dirt and clean the wood.  This can be done with warm water with some sugar soap. Make sure to rinse with clean cold water and let the timber dry completely. When the wood is dry lightly sand with fine grit sandpaper, 120 grit.

Directions:

Ensure wood is dry before applying the Nourish Wood Oil. Apply the Nourishing Wood Oil generously and rub well into the wood using a sponge or a brush. Leave for about 30 minutes, then wipe off excess with a cotton rag. Go over the surface again with a new dry rag to ensure the surface is dry and the oil has absorbed into the wood. Important: you need to get the oil polished off well within one hour before it starts to dry. If required, the process can be repeated after 2-3 days of drying. This product contains tannins and can change the colour of metal and oak. Always carry out a test in a small area.

Maintenance :

You need to re-oil approximately every 2-3 years in order to preserve and protect the timber.

Coverage

15-20 m² per litre (160-220 sq.ft. per 33.8 fl.oz.).
