Exact representations of colours used in the renovation of Van Gogh House London
Van Gogh lived at 87 Hackford Road, London between 1873 and 1874. Pearl Grey, Amsterdam Green and Blackout all colours from our Exterior Linseed Oil Paint Collection were used in the renovation. The other colours on the card of Golden Yellow, Chatsworth Blue and Barn Red are typical colours of that period. Brouns & Co still manufacture linseed oil paint as Van Gogh himself would have used, other than the lack of toxic pigments. This colour card has been meticulously painted by hand using the actual liseed oil paint, enabling you to make the right choice for your project. Click here to learn more about the renovation.
