Linseed oil putty / filler

This traditional, high grade linseed oil putty is made from pure linseed oil and excellent types of chalk. Ideal for installing glazing, as well as carrying out repairs and filling gaps in window frames, doors, floors – in fact any timber repairs.

Apply the putty onto the primed wood. According to the manufacturer, it can be directly painted over with linseed oil paint after application. Just make sure the skin is hard enough so the brush doesn’t drag lines into the surface. Can also be used in combination with oakum docka.

Available in 750g (1.6 lb) and 5kg (11 lb) sizes.
