Linseed Tar Oil

The most traditional of treatments, dating back centuries if not millennia. This is made from linseed oil and pine tar. For exterior wood treatment such as outbuildings, sleepers, bridges, fencing and decking. Simply apply by brush in thin coats for that brownish finish on pine.

Apply Tar Oil until the wood is saturated on the first coats, then once a year for the first 3 years with a refresher coat every 2-3 years thereafter.

Coverage can be between 7-15 m²  per litre per coat.  It depends on how absorbent and rough the timber is, as well as how many coats you want to apply.
